Product Description
This laser-cut aluminium firewall kit is designed for competition builds where the fuel cell has been relocated from under the rear seat into the boot space. Regulations typically require a flame-proof firewall to separate the fuel cell from the driver and co-driver in this configuration.
The kit comprises 4 pieces: a predrilled aluminium upper parcel shelf, a predrilled aluminium back rest, and 2 steel inserts that are welded to the floor. The steel inserts include a hole for fuel lines and wiring to pass through to the boot space. The aluminium sections are pop riveted into place.
All metal sections are supplied raw and will need to be painted to match the car. The kit fits both 2-door and 4-door Subaru Impreza GC8 models from 1992-2000.
