Product Description
3 port electronic boost control solenoid (EBCS) kit with a plug and play adaptor, listed for MY99+ Subaru Impreza WRX/STI/Turbo/GT models.
The kit uses a Pierburg solenoid unit, reported to be the same type used by Prodrive in a 3 port boost solenoid kit fitted to the WR1 model.
A 3 port EBCS interrupts the boost signal between the boost source and the wastegate and redirects that pressure back to the intake, which is a different method to the bleed-type 2 port boost controllers commonly used as standard. Actual port size is 5.90mm; a 4mm internal diameter hose is recommended.
