Product Description
Oil surge on the Subaru flat-four engine layout under hard cornering can leave the oil pick-up pipe starved of oil. This dampened oil pick-up pipe is designed to reduce that risk on EJ25 and twin-scroll applications.
It is supplied pre lock-wired to a new genuine Subaru oil pick-up pipe. The suction adaptor lowers the point at which oil enters the pick-up, reducing the possibility of oil starvation during heavy cornering loads.
Its castellated design allows it to sit against the base of the sump pan without restricting oil flow, acting as a cushion if the sump is damaged, and also helps reduce vibration-related fatigue on the pick-up pipe.
It is compatible with OEM pick-up pipes and RCM baffled sump kits.
