Product Description
Power steering pump failures can occur in warm climates or under demanding driving as fluid temperatures rise and the fluid thins, leading to premature wear on the pump bearings. This cooler kit is designed for Subaru Impreza / WRX STI models from 2008 to 2012 to help keep power steering fluid temperatures in check.
The kit is supplied with a 10-row Setrab core, rated for working temperatures from -40°C to 150°C with a maximum burst pressure of 37 Bar(g).
Lines use Goodridge -6 210 Series hose — a lightweight braided design suited to power steering fluid — finished with Goodridge re-usable alloy fittings featuring a Triple Seal/Double O-ring design and 360-degree swivel ends.
The mounting bracket is black hardened powder-coated steel, laser cut and folded to locate behind the front upper grille using the vehicle’s existing mounting points and clips.
A version combined with an engine oil cooler kit is also available separately.
