Product Description
Tumbler Generator Valves (TGVs) are fitted to Impreza WRX, Forester Turbo and Legacy GT models from 2001 onward, primarily to reduce cold-idle emissions. The standard TGV uses twin butterfly valves in each tumbler housing which restrict airflow even when fully open, and the associated sensors and motors are a common failure point.
This short-pattern kit is used when retro-fitting the two-piece inlet manifold to earlier GC8/GF8 models, so the manifold clears the bonnet.
This Process West billet TGV delete kit removes the standard valve assembly. The port profile is machined to suit ported heads, and the upper flange is O-ringed to seal against a stock or aftermarket plenum. Fuel injector ports are machined to accept either 11mm or 13mm diameter injectors without adaptors, using the supplied Viton O-rings, and the fuel rail mounting points match the stock location, allowing use with aftermarket fuel rails.
