Product Description
This RCM thermal spacer kit contains phenolic spacers that isolate the inlet manifold from heat conducted through the engine’s cylinder heads, reducing inlet air temperature. Cooler, denser intake air contains more oxygen, which can support increased power and torque.
Sealing between the spacers, manifold and cylinder heads uses an integral double O-ring design, so conventional manifold gaskets are not required. The spacers can also create additional clearance under the inlet manifold for larger turbo inlet hoses and engine plumbing.
